When it comes to cars, there’s nothing more classier than good ol’ American muscle. And the 2015 Dodge Challenger is one of the front-runners in its class.
The Dodge Challenger isn’t just a nostalgic classic muscle car, though. Dodge has kept up with the times and added in a lot of modern features to really make the Challenger a real contender in the modern world.
If you’re looking for high performance, then the Dodge Challenger will be a great car for you. The 2015 Dodge Challenger isn’t just a cookie-cutter muscle car. In fact, it has had some major overhauls.
There’s been changes in the exterior and interior design that really make it pop. The SRT Hellcat and R/T Scat Pack trims have the best performance options overall. But every trim still delivers a heart-pounding drive every single time.
Dodge has even introduced an 8-speed automatic transmission so that you won’t have to worry about frantically switching gears while you drive. And it’s very smooth.
There’s some more advanced features, though. So let’s get to it, shall we?
2015 Dodge Challenger Review
1. Classic Look
The 2015 Challenger stays true to its name. Every inch of it resembles the good old classic muscle car. The lines on the exterior and front-head of the vehicle create a iron-clad look that catches attention.
You can tell Dodge really paid patent attention to detail when it came to designing the exterior.
2. New Trim Packages
For the first time ever, the Challenger has released two brand-new trims. What are they? The R/T Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat.
The R/T Scat Pack has a 392 hemi engine hidden underneath the hood… which… delivers a solid 485 horsepower. When you hit the gas, you will feel how powerful it truly is.
The SRT Hellcat takes it even further. It delivers a shocking 707 horsepower from a 6.2L hemi. These two new trims over compensate on power and out perform the base model. Well worth the upgrade, in our opinion.
3. Upgraded Premium Interior
The Challenger even redesigned the interior. And they did a terrific job. But don’t worry, they didn’t betray their classic look. In fact, the new interior combines the classic look with modern technology to make every car enthusiast happy.
4. Roomy Cabin
Tired of driving around a stuffy sedan? Well, the cabin of the 2015 Challenger has tons of room. It can seat five people very comfortably. You won’t hear anyone complaining about being cramped.
Usually other muscle cars sacrifice cabin size by offering a tiny back seat. But the 2015 Challenger didn’t follow the status quo. Clearly they listened to consumers about giving the back seats and front seats more room.
5. Excellent Safety Features
The Challenger is a fairly safe vehicle. There’s great safety features in place to keep you safe during a crash. The air bags in the cabin, the iron-clad framing system and large amounts of space absorb shock in the event of a crash.
The driver and passengers will be very safe if you get into a collision. The 2015 Challenger is real sturdy. It’s called American muscle for a reason, isn’t it?
6. Newly Upgraded Control Console
For the first time ever, Dodge is introducing a state of the art infotainment system with their 2015 model. With this new system, you will get Wifi access and streaming capabilities.
The touch screen technology and voice command recognition make it easy to control, too. There’s nothing worse than trying to fiddle with the controls while you’re trying to drive. Safety first!
7. Comfortable Seats
Most vehicles offer rock-hard, uncomfortable seats that will make your back ache. But the seats in the Challenger offer great back support. The padding will support your posture and make you very comfortable on long trips.
8. Several Additional Packages
There’s several additional exterior and interior packages, too. They add to the price of the vehicle… but can also be a great way to satisfy all buyers.
Some of the packages include:
- Leather interior pack.
- Exterior sport appearance.
- Cold weather specialization pack for all-season drivers.
These packages vary based on the model you choose.
9. Flexible Price Range
Most American muscle will cost you an arm and a leg to afford. That’s just not the case with the Challenger’s entry-level trims.
The higher-end trim like the Hellcat is pricey… but the base trim starts at only $26,955.
(And if you stick to the end, I’ll tell you how you can get one for even cheaper than that. Bare with me for now.)
It’s a base model price, but it still brings the Challenger into the ballpark of an average car buyer that’s not interested in buying a higher-end model.
If you’re looking for an affordable pre-owned Dodge Challenger, then we have some great news for you. We have a few 2015 models on our lot that are in great condition.
